El Presidente Municipal Mauricio Trejo Pureco manifestó que #SanMiguelDeAllende se consolida como el epicentro de la vitivinicultura en el centro de México; esto en el marco del arranque del programa educativo como Técnico Superior Universitario en Agricultura Sustentable.
Con el arranque del programa educativo como Técnico Superior Universitario en Agricultura Sustentable área Vitivinicultura, que impartirá la Universidad Tecnológica de San Miguel de Allende (Utsma); dando continuidad a la visión que inició en el 2012, el presidente municipal Mauricio Trejo destacó que San Miguel de Allende vuelve a una de sus vocaciones económicas ancestrales como es la vitivinicultura; ésta abarca toda la cadena de valor que genera el vino.
